*before link could help, Skull kid had dug his sword into the ground and hung there helpless. He tried to pull himself up, but he was dragged down by something big, VERY BIG!!!*
*His screams of fright were lost under endless amounts of earth as link stood there, wide eyed, not believing what he just saw...*

Paper Link was on his way to see the Deku Tree... But where was Skull Kid? He turned around abruptly. He saw his partner hanging on by a sword! "I'll save you!" By the time he got there, Skull Kid was being pulled down, and Link stared wide-eyed.  Exactly. "Wha..." Adventurer instinct tacking over, throwing a Boomerang at whatever was pulling Skull Kid down. Hopefully he damaged it, or disloged his friend. But it was too dark to see... |

Skull kid never knew what pulled him down, nor did he want to... as soon as it let go, he reached for the item, though he knew not what it was, dislodged it from the creatures skull, then climbed out and ran... For fear of his life!!!

Link was knocked over by a overly frightened Skull Kid.
(Heh. Like paper characters could knock each other over.)

Sure... *shakily hands him the boomerang, battered and broken,to link* ...Sorry, it broke when you threw it and slayed that beast...........I...uh....owe you my li......thanks, just thanks..... *walks away cooly, kicking an over grown pumpkin as he walked...*

Link just stared at the Boomerang. This stinks. None of his wapons or armor have broken before, except Deku Sheilds, which burn up too easily.
"Well... we could find somebody to fix this."
(Out of Character: I think this would be a great time for Hero's Shade to come in. But he's not on.)
